Dont sleep on these 2024 money changes OR this offer!

Hi Reader ,

Its almost 2024! Isnt that crazy??

I know you are going be busy with new years resolutions and all that jazz so I will keep it short and simple this month:

As we start 2024 very soon, there have been changes to various thresholds that may affect you:

  • The income limits for marginal tax brackets are changing.
  • The maximum contribution to a 401(k) will be $23,000 (up from $22,500 in 2023).
  • Max annual IRA contributions will increase to $7,000 (up from $6,500 in 2023).
  • Given the news yesterday about projected interest rate cuts, High Yield Savings and Treasuries are likely going to have lower returns. If you are looking for 5% returns in 2024, you might want to start looking at other investment options

The income ranges for deductibility of contributions to IRAs, Roth IRAs, and to claim the Saver’s Credit, all also increase in 2024.

We have quite a few clients maxing out their tax deferral through these contributions so we are excited to help you navigate them as we roll into the new year. Feel free to hit “reply” if this brings up any questions or thoughts. Happy to help you navigate and take the right action for you.

About the Un-Sale..

I love providing value for you all through this newsletter. I am touched by how many of you read it regularly (even though I am not as regular in writing it) and have replied with feedback or questions. Honestly the number of people asking for help has been a little overwhelming.

As a way of saying thank you, I want to tell you that I am running an “Un-Sale”.

This means the regular price of hourly consultations IS GOING UP in Jan 2024.

The pricing is going to jump from $250/hr to $500/ hr.

However, since you all are such an awesome bunch, I want you to lock in todays price before the price goes up permanently!

If you book a FREE intro call with me using this link before 12/31/2023 (the appointment date does not have to be in 2023), then I will honor the current price for you!

That’s all for today.

See you next month, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

P.S. - I also do Ask-Me-Anything Fridays on Linkedin, so join me there if you have questions in the future!

Hi Reader , How are you gearing up for the end of 2024? I hope it’s a merry Christmas for you and your loved ones and that you have time off to recharge, rejuvenate, and plan for another revolution around the Sun. This is also a period when many folks are reflecting on the year gone by, and making new-year goals–health, financial, emotional, and professional. So I come bearing a warning sign of all the financial advice/shortcuts/ courses you might encounter floating on the internet as a...

Dearest Reader, I was at a Diwali potluck at a friend’s house a few days ago. Picture jasmine-scented candles, marigold garlands, a makeshift mandir, bright-colored clothing, game cards, and a table of sumptuous ghee-laden food (which I love, occasionally). That’s not all there was. The living room also had a corner table for gifts—occupied by a tower of 10 sweet boxes (mostly Soan Papdi) piling up atop one another. After everyone had their share of beer, we joked about the sweets,...

Dearest Reader, Let me just come out and say it: networking is a pain in the butt. However, doing it outdoors, someplace like the beautiful Huntington Beach in California, makes it a lot more bearable. So, I attended the FutureProof Festival this year again, and it was every bit refreshing! Look at me beaming in the gorgeous, scorching sun! Of course, I returned with a nice tan and a bunch of new learnings. At the Future Proof Festival 2024 Now, onto the serious stuff! As a financial advisor,...
